One of the first and toughest steps when getting ready to sell any kind of Miami Beach real estate is determining the right price, especially in today’s volatile and much more competitive market.  Putting aside your decision to price high or low or even cutting down price, the last few numbers may be more important than you might be aware of.

As a buyer of general consumer goods you’re probably accustomed to seeing a product priced at something like $3.99 or $5.99.  Interestingly, such common pricing scheme may have more of an effect if you’re trying to sell Miami Beach real estate.  In a recent study by Cornell University, participants found $510,000 to actually be a higher number than something like $511,534.  This is apparently due to most people’s inexperience with discussing large whole numbers that are so precise which in turn causes them to interpret them as smaller.

Now there’s something to think about and consider the next time you’re trying to determine the best price for Miami Beach condos.  Stick to less precise numbers and you may inadvertently end up giving yourself a perceived advantage.

Now is the season when South Florida tends to slow down. Although we have seen signs that it is doing much better than last year, the World Cup came to heat things up! And lets face it, Miami is the biggest soccer market in the United States.

Soccer fans all over the world are over flowing with excitement as the World Cup starts this week. Other than South Africa, Miami may be one of the most exciting places to watch the World Cup. That is because Miami has one of the biggest concentration of residents from different nations.

Many local restaurants and even the luxury ones around South Florida, including Downtown Miami, South Beach, Brickell and Coconut Grove, will be having special hours and menus during the World Cup. Now you won't have to wonder where to go to watch the games. You can even have a nice breakfast while watching the morning games.

Restaurant owners are expecting business to be great. And some improvements have been made, more plasma screens have been installed and even some small events have been organized.

This will be a great opportunity to keep the numbers not so low during this hot summer season.
